Fifth Annual School Garden Conference
Educators, administrators, and the public are welcome to join us and learn about the rapidly growing school garden movement in Las Vegas. Teaching in an outdoor classroom is an innovative way for teachers to improve STEAM and nutrition education as well as influence students to conserve and protect the planet.
Please join us as more than 50 teachers, principals, students, and keynote speakers share their accomplishments that have helped to expand Las Vegas school gardens over the past year. This event is open to the public.
Attend the All About the Junior Master Gardener Program session led by Tricia Braxton Perry, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.

JMG “Train the Trainer” Workshop
This workshop is intended to provide resources for educators to begin or grow JMG programs on their school campus. It will include two full days of hands-on activities using the JMG Level One Teachers Handbook and the Learn, Grow, Eat, Go! curricula. The workshop is free and each participant will receive both curricula manuals. PTSB & STARS credit are available.

This 2.5 day National Leader Training Conference will equip you to effectively lead Junior Master Gardener groups through garden-based learning projects AND empower you to host JMG Training Workshops for other teachers/leaders in your community!
