This 1 day (9 AM-3 PM) LGEG Training course that will take place at the Dallas Arboretum. In this workshop, our highly trained staff educators engage participants in curriculum lessons throughout the Arboretum. Participants recieve a complete set of Learn, Grow, Eat & Go! resources and hands-on instruction. Participants can implement the curriculum in their classroom immediately. Workshop includes full day access to the entire Dallas Arboretum, including the-award winning Children’s Adventure Garden and parking. February 17 Junior Master Gardener Facilitator Course, Salem, OR
Join Oregon’s state Junior Master Gardener Coordinator, Kelly Noack, and Oregon’s MCMGA member of the year, Jim Liskey, as we collaborate to bring you the Junior Master Gardener Facilitator Training Course. During this training we will cover easy, fun, research-based activities that students complete within Junior Master Gardeners and youth garden programs. This course is designed for teachers, garden coordinators, volunteers, and teens 15+ interested in sharing their love for healthy living, vegetables, and kids! Tips and tricks will be shared on how to best manage a classroom and build trust with youth of all ages.
