Favorite Flower/Plant: I really love all flowers, especially enjoy what is blooming in season. Probably my favorite blooming plants are zinnias, sunflowers, and sweet peas. My favorite vegetable -by far- is tomatoes. Out of the garden no question!
Favorite Food:  Peaches, fresh from the tree
Favorite thing about JMG:  I love being a part of a program that makes a positive difference in the lives of children. Seeing the JOY in their faces when they learn new things, try a new vegetable, or teach what they have learned to someone else makes me SMILE!
Favorite Quote: “Bloom where you are planted!”

Favorite Flower: Poinsettia
Favorite Food:  Mexican
Favorite thing about JMG:  Without a doubt, it is the gift of working with the group of people that I am blessed to work with each day in the JMG office.
Favorite Quotes: There are two, so it is a toss up!
This is not a quote from a specific person but is one that we have always used within our own home, as a family…..  “Show strength of mind; calm in heart; and faith in talents.”
And the other quote that I love is:  “Be true, be smart, be humble, be clean, be involved, be grateful, be positive, be still, be prayerful.”

Extension Program Specialist
Junior Master Gardener Curriculum Coordinator

Favorite Flower: Sunflower, because I like the size, scale, and speed that it grows. It’s my favorite garden plant for kids –  you can witness the  whole life cycle of a plant in a relatively short period of time.
Favorite Food:  Cheese enchiladas!
Favorite thing about JMG:  That we get to introduce lots of kids to a life long love of gardening.
Favorite Quote: “Be a Fountain, Not a Drain.”

Favorite Flower: Sarah Bernhardt Peony

Favorite Food: Pineapples

Favorite thing about JMG: I love how gardening is utilized to empower youth by providing fun ways for them to develop their leadership skills, and apply them within and beyond the classroom.
Favorite Quote: “‘Monster’ is a relative term. To a canary, a cat is a monster. We’re just used to being the cat.” – Henry Wu (Jurassic World – 2015)
