Join us for the first annual AgriLife Extension STEM Academy for Educators on July 6, 2022 on the campus of Texas A&M University!
This one-day, hands-on & high energy professional development conference is designed specifically for classroom teachers and informal educators of students in grades 4th-8th to boost STEM learning. Choose from workshop options tracks in both morning and afternoon sessions to build your STEM learning background and provide specific resources for implementation in your classroom.

Making a Splash with Water Science

$185 Workshop registration includes:
Texas A&M AgriLife certification documenting your completed workshop Texas Education Agency approved 8 CPE hours & TEEAC credit hours
Lunch, snacks, bottled water
All workshop supplies, curriculum and/or handouts, make & take samples
workshop sessions in of all areas of the Gardens at Texas A&M and how those concepts can be incorporated in your school
chances at LOTS of great door prizes!
Training Location, Parking & Dress
Workshop will begin at the AgriLife Center (556 John Kimbrough, College Station, TX 77843, MAP to workshop) and transition to The Leach Teaching Gardens at Texas A&M University,
Parking on A&M Campus requires a permit. If you are not an A&M employee you will need a Pre-paid Visitor Permit. It is $5 and valid all day. Parking in Reed Arena lot 100c at the corner of Kimbrough and Penberthy (MAP to parking) is preferred. Dress comfortably for the weather with closed-toe shoes for outdoor activities.
Bottled water and snacks provided during training.
