Pour a tablespoon of rye grass seed into the toe of foot stockings.

Fill the stockings with 2 cups of potting soil.

Pack soil to form a tight ball shape.

Tie the stocking in a knot just below the ball to seal in the soil.

Tie small rubber bands onto the monster to create any number of ears and noses.

Hot glue googly eyes to the monster.

Add pipe cleaners to make a mouth and then hot glue it in place. Get creative!

Soak the your Monster Plant in a bowl of water for several minutes so the soil can become saturated.

Then set your monster on top of a soda can, jar or vase and let the tail hang in the water. This tail will act as a wick and keep the soil and growing seeds moist. Next tape on arms, legs or anything you want your Plant Monster to have.

Name your Monster Plant and it will begin growing green hair in 3-4 days. If you keep it watered in, about 2 weeks you’ll need to begin giving it green hair cuts!
