Green JMG Circle

Full circles often happen in life. We david and halliehave happening right now in the JMG office with our new summer internship.

Hallie Morrison is our 2014 JMG Summer Intern. Her connection to JMG began as a 4th grader with her teacher, David Cain, leading a class. Not only does she have lots of great memories from JMG activities and earning a JMG certification, she also remembers those special days that Mr. Cain would bring his guitar and lead school-wide sing-a-longs. One of the favorite performances was “The Garden Song.”  There were even times with the entire campus would hold these events in the garden itself!

See more about her background and experiences as a JMG kid in her earlier post :)

(As a side note, David Cain will soon be a featured JMG contributor and will be regularly blogging and sharing garden art ideas beginning this summer at: http://jmgkids.us/blog

Fast forward a dozen years and the same week that Hallie started her position in our office, her former elementary teacher retired from a long, impactful career as an educator. One of Hallie’s responsibilities is to coordinate the of the newly beginning JMG Blogs feature on the JMG site. Next week she will be teaching her former teacher how to post those creative art ideas at his own JMG feature blog.

Get ready because the circle grows stronger as Hallie was able to attend the Mr. Cain’s very last sing-a-long on his very last day. Be looking for more from Hallie’s and Mr. Cain’s blogs in the coming weeks!
