When the new semester started, the Junior Master Gardener office gained a new student worker. We are happy to introduce Mattey Mannen! Mattey is helping develop our training programs, add web content, and updates social media sites.
Mattey is a junior Agricultural Communication and Journalism major here at Texas A&M University. Currently, Mattey is serving on student councils in the community, such as the David Gardener Jewelers Student Advisory Council and C.O.A.L.S Council, which is a council of students that serve as a link between the College of Agriculture’s Dean and the students in the college. She is also a member of the Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.
Mattey hopes to venture into audio editing and production when she graduates from Texas A&M University. In her free time, Mattey likes to fish, collect vinyl, read, take pictures, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.
